*Writer Tim Seeley and artist Mike Nolan are trying to create a whole new genre called farm Noir this July when image Comics releases their Revival #1 where the dead residents of Wausau, Wisconsin (Hey, my Aunt and Uncle used to live there!) decide NOT to stay dead! Represent, WisCONsin!

*Spoiler Alert! DC has revealed which classic character is now gay in the new 52 Universe. This home entertainment weekly link includes a preview and interview with writer James Robinson. Or, you can pick up earth 2 #2 this Wednesday, June 6!

*AMC will be running a walking Dead marathon the weekend of July 7 and 8 that will culminate in an all-new one-hour talking Dead special; a first time broadcast of the show’s pilot in Black & White and special previews of season 3! And, in related news, the folks at IGN have the cover art for Frank Quitely’s disturbing Variant to walking Dead #100.

*In doctor who news, the Doctor’s new buddy finally has a name! Well, a first name. It’s Clara, which was the real life middle name of the late Elisabeth Sladen, better known as classic who buddy Sarah Jane Smith. good tribute.

*Scott Kolins will be drawing legion of very Heroes for at least a few issues beginning in September.

*The patriotic-colored armor of Norman Osborn’s Iron Patriot from Marvel’s Dark reign storyline will be making an appearance in the Iron man 3 movie!

*The release date for the Thor 2 film sequel has been moved up a week to November 8, 2013 and the as-yet-untitled sequel to X-Men first class has a release date of July 14, 2014.

*To publicize the premiere episode of the new Arrow TV series on Wednesday, October 10, 8/7pm central on your local CW station, DC Comics is declaring the day Arrow Day and participating comic shops will have a limited number of free Arrow promotional comics to give away.The custom comic sports a nifty new cover by Mike Grell and offers a past and present peek of Oliver Queen and a six-page preview of green Arrow #0!

*2013 is the 20th anniversary of DC’s Vertigo line and besides the new Neil Gaiman Sandman mini-series, new books are coming from creators old and new, including an increase in Sci-Fi titles!

*The all-new venture Bros Halloween special will air Sunday, October 28 at 11:30/10:30pm central on cartoon Network’s adult Swim Block.

*Archie Comics have announced that they’re putting their Jugheadcomic on hiatus to “overhaul” the character. just please don’t make him diabetic and losing a foot. That’s a little too realistic!

*Dark Knight Rises is coming to home video on December 4!

*Mark Millar has signed with 20th Century Foxto speak with on their licensed marvel movies.

*89-year old Stan Lee was recently fitted with a pacemaker.

Titan Comics’ The Beatles: Yellow Submarine Adaptation

Scott Snyder’s very first job after completing Dark Nights: metal will be co-writing May’s 4-Part, regular Justice League: No Justice mini-series before taking over the routine Justice league title in June with a post-Metal story line! Francis Manapul has been revealed as the artist for the mini-series.

DC Comics’ Batman: creature of the night #3 has been delayed up until Wednesday, March 28, the exact same day as Doomsday Clock #4 which has now been altered to a bi-monthly schedule!

Also, DC’s new Age of Heroes series The Immortal guy #1 by James Tynion IV as well as Jim Lee has been bumped an April 11 release and Batman as well as the Signal #2 has been delayed two weeks to February 21st!

IDW resumes publishing comics based on the FOX TV series in April with X-Files situation Files: Florida guy #1!

FOX’s Gotham returns with the remainder of their 4th season episodes on Thursday, March 1st!

Disney XD’s Spider-Man animated series has been renewed for a second season to introduce sometime later in 2018 together with the previously revealed Guardians of the Galaxy: objective Breakout as well as Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest!
